We finally did it and followed through on putting our master bedroom first! We pulled the trigger on ditching Jordan’s old dresser and getting ourselves a beautiful new piece of furniture.
This new beauty came from Wayfair.
We fell in love with the mid century look, brass pulls, and the price was quite nice too at $355. So we hit the BUY button and they shipped it super fast. Assembly took us a little bit of time, about three hours total. But it was worth it for the heft of this piece.
Another little update is this lovely piece of art by Clare Elsaesser
. I’d been dreaming of getting something by her for awhile. So when she had a seconds sale a few weeks ago, I scooped up this print. I still have plans of making a gallery shelf on the wall above the bed, where this will go. But for now it’s living on my nightstand quite happily.
Overall, we’re so happy with both our new additions. In the next couple of weeks, we will come back in here with paint and give the trim and closet doors the same treatment as the office. Bye, bye orange wood doors! It’s so nice watching this room come together slowly.
